Abstract
A modified surgical procedure for the correction of trachomatous cicatricial entropion trichiasis has the advantage of greater technical ease. The operation corrects the basic pathologic conditions in trachomatous cicatricial entropion trichiasis by adding tissue to the scarred and shortened inner surface of the eyelid. The operation should be made the procedure of choice. Out of 708 patients operated on, 90% showed successful results without supplementary therapy by electrolysis or reoperation. Keywords
