Abstract
Extract of the anterior lobe of the beef hypophysis made according to Evans and Long (1921) daily injected intraperitoneally into castrated rats raised the body length to that of the litter-mate control and the weight in most cases considerably above. The effect on weight is proportionately greater than the effect upon body length Although the body length of the injected castrate is about the same, the total length of the injected castrate is greater because of the definitely longer tail. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
