Random multiplication in a diffusive medium

We consider the problem of multiplication in a diffusive random medium. For time-independent one-dimensional white-noise multiplication ‘‘potential’’ we find asymptotic growth ∼exp(${\mathrm{t}}^3$), while for a ‘‘potential’’ with finite-range correlation we find asymptotic growh ∼exp(${\mathrm{t}}^2$).
