Abstract
Growth hormone was administered to hypophysectomized rat concurrently with either adrenocorticotropic, Thyrotropic or follicle stimulating hormone. It was found that GH potentiated the effect of ACTH on adrenal weight but not on adrenal steroidogenic capacity. GH did not potentiate the effects of TSH on either the weight or iodine uptake of the thyroid, nor did it potentiate the effect of FSH on ovarian weight. Keywords
