Abstract
Bearing limbs of Montmorency sour cherry were subjected to several different night temps. in order to study temp. influences on fruit development for the period between full bloom and fruit maturity. Results showed that increase in night temp. accelerated fruit development during stages I and II but inhibited that during stage III. Effects of night temp. on fruit quality such as color, total soluble solids, and fruit size were noted. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
