Abstract
The radiation properties of N axially slotted antenna on a lossy dielectric-coated elliptic cylinder are investigated. The analysis is carried out by expressing the fields inside and outside the antenna structure in terms of elliptic waves using complex Mathieu functions. The boundary conditions at various surfaces are employed to obtain the unknown field expansion coefficients. Numerical results are presented graphically for the radiation pattern, aperture conductance, and antenna gain for the transverse magnetic field case. PACS No.: 84.40.BaKeywords
