Polythelia and Testicular Cancer

Abstract
In a recent survey of patients with renal adenocarcinoma, we found an increased occurrence of polythelia (supernumerary nipples), often accompanied by other anomalies (1). Because one patient had both renal cancer and testicular seminoma, we undertook a study to evaluate the frequency of polythelia among patients with testicular cancer. From 1976 to 1981, 151 patients who were diagnosed between 18 and 40 years of age as having testicular cancer were seen at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
