Abstract
A numerical procedure is presented for computing the undamped natural frequencies of bending vibration of rectangular plates which are hinged along two opposite edges and continuous over rigid supports transverse to the hinged edges. Along the hinged edges, there are assumed to be uniformly distributed forces acting in the middle plane of the plate. The procedure is illustrated by two examples.Keywords
