Abstract
The in vitro susceptibility of 29 clinical isolates of fungi belonging to the division Zygomycota was reviewed. A broth microdilution test was performed by following the NCCLS reference method, with minor modifications. The species of Zygomycota tested were resistant in vitro to flucytosine, itraconazole and voriconazole. Amphotericin B showed the best activity against most of the strains evaluated. Keywords
