Motion of negative ions in superfluid3He

Abstract
A formula is derived for the velocity of ions in the B phase of superfluid 3He as a function of electric field and temperature. Comparison between theory and experimental results gives values of the energy gap which are within 3% of that predicted by BCS theory.Keywords
