Abstract
Chronic treatment of rats with the aldosterone-blocker 3-(3-oxo-17[beta]-hydroxy-4-androsten-17[alpha]-yl) propionic acid gamma-lactone prevented adrenal-regeneration hypertension and the accompanying cardiac hypertrophy. Unaffected were: mortality, body weight, saline intake, renal and adrenal hypertrophy.Keywords
