Abstract
This review, along with others in the group digest series, attempts to place in perspective what is known about a key element in group process and outcome. Keith Morran addresses the topic of self-disclosure in depth. In my opinion, readers will benefit by the research knowledge gained. Perhaps equally important, however, are the guidelines for the use of self-disclosure that Dr. Morran presents. As always, I would welcome feedback from readers regarding this section. Rex Stockton Digest Coordinator This review poses several questions concerning self-disclosure and draws on research findings and clinical experience to provide some tentative answers and guidelines for group leaders. Keywords
