Abstract
Narcissism has become a matter of increasing concern in recent years. In this paper it is referred to as selfism and construed as a problem solving generalized expectancy in the framework of Rotter's social learning theory. The development of a 28-item objective scale is described along with preliminary evidence for its validity. Keywords
