Jet angular distribution from quantum chromodynamics

Abstract
We calculate the quantum-chromodynamic correction to the jet (defined in the manner of Sterman and Weinberg) angular distribution in energetic e+e annihilation to order αs keeping exact dependence on ε and δ. We find deviations from the zeroth-order distribution, 1+cos2θ, for relatively large values of ε and δ. This effect could be tested at the existing e+e colliding-beam facilities.
