Abstract
The indications for the use of antidotes to muscle relaxants are enumerated. The pharmacology of a new drug, Ro 2–3198 (Tensilon), is discussed. The effects of neostigmine and Ro 2–3198 (Tensilon) on the conscious subject and on patients under anæsthesia are recorded. The dangers of neostigmine are discussed with reference to known mishaps which have occurred following the use of the drug.Keywords
