Abstract
A literature survey of the experimentally determined values for the surface tension γ of molten pure metals has been carried out. It is intended to provide an assessed data base for use with a mathematical model currently being developed at the National Physical Laboratory, UK, to predict the surface tension of molten metal alloys. Keywords
