Abstract
Previous reports were reviewed and the author presented 3 of his own cases in which one cerebral hemisphere was removed. Diseased hemisphere, convulsions and pre-existing hemiplegia are given as indications for surgery. Brain tumors and unilateral hydrocephalus has comprised most of the cases reported. The results consist of control of convulsions, improvement of gait and personality.Keywords
