Abstract
A committee of ecologists recently visited the enclosed ecosystem of Biosphere 2 in order to advise the new scientific managers of the structure on how it may be used in ecological research. Cohen, a member of the committee, describes the lessons that have emerged to date from the confinement of eight individuals in Biosphere 2 for 2 years about the interrelatedness of plants and animals in ecological systems. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
