Abstract
A theoretical analysis of the gasdynamic structure of a counter-flow diffusion flame established in the forward stagnation region of a porous cylinder is made on the basis of the flame surface and the boundary layer approximations. The numerical calculation is performed to obtain the gasdynamic flame structure for the methane-air system and the obtained profiles of temperature, density and velocity are found to correlate satisfactory with those of experiment.Keywords
