Mealybugs (Hemiptera : Pseudococcidae) in Hawke's bay orchards

Abstract

A survey of the mealybug species present in Hawke''s Bay orchards was carried out, from November 1963 to January 1965. Three species were found: Pseudococcus obscurus, P. adonidum, and Phenococcus graminosus. P. graminosus is recorded from New Zealand for the first time.
