Abstract
Five cases of calcified urinary bladder tumors have been noted in 75 cases examined.Three types of calcifications were seen: (1) hazy opacity with a dense rim; (2) speckled irregular or serpiginous stippling; and (3) nodular, coarse calcification. It is suggested that evaluation of the plain roentgenogram may, on occasion, yield a clue to the diagnosis of urinary bladder tumors. Awareness of the significance of the calcification of the described types should lead to more definitive procedures. Keywords
