Abstract
A simple means for recognizing the 6 main vector species or species groups of the S. damnosum Theobald complex [S. yahense, S. soubrense, S. sirbanum, S. squamosum and S. sanctipauli] is presented. The pictorial keys are designed primarily to assist non-specialists, technicians and field personnel who handle many specimens in a relatively short period of time.
