Magnetic Moments of Nuclear Isospin Doublets

The magnetic moments of nuclear isospin doublets are examined under the assumption that $\overrightarrow{\mu }={\overrightarrow{\mu }}_0\left(\mathrm{isoscalar}\right)+{\overrightarrow{\mu }}_3\left(\mathrm{isovector}\right)$. For fixed $J$ and $P$, the magnetic moments of nuclei with odd numbers of neutrons or protons all lie on two straight lines. The slope of the lines is approximately the same for any $J$ and $P$.
