Abstract
We investigate the invariant-mass distribution, observed by Cline, Laumann, and Mapp, with a two-channel formalism. We come to the conclusions (1) that the peak just below the threshold is mainly due to a resonance (it would not be explained by a kinematical effect alone), and (2) that the peak just above the threshold is due to the two-channel final-state interaction.
