Abstract
Seven normal healthy individuals and ten depressive patients treated with imipramine (75 mg orally) were evaluated for their urinary ADH profile. It was observed that imipramine treated patients excreted higher amounts of urinary ADH (10.6 ± 0.83 mU/hr) as compared to the control subjects (2.6 ± 0.35mU/hr) (P < 0.01). Blood pressure in both groups was within the normal range. Keywords
