Abstract
A 3rd species of Pseudostenhelia Wells, 1967 (P. wellsi sp. nov.), differs from the 2 previously known species in A2 and P2-P5 setation. The other 2 spp. are known only from the Indian Ocean. P. wellsi from the western North Atlantic, repesents an unexpected discovery, but all 3 spp. inhabit similar biotopes. N. palustris, a cosmopolitan species known to vary geographically, also shows within-habitat variation in South Carolina [USA]. Further, the South Carolina specimens possess different setation from those reported in the literature. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
