Abstract
A family pedigree possessing the genes for Hb-D, beta thalassemia and delta thalassemia is discussed. Evidence is presented suggesting a crossover between beta thalassemia locus and delta locus resulting in both beta structural locus represented by Hb-D and beta thalassemia locus in cis. Keywords
