Abstract
The present work compares the time course of 8-methoxypsoralen (8-MOP) plasma levels with that of induced skin photosensitivity. The value of plasma assay as a reflexion of cutaneous concentration of 8-MOP has been definitively demonstrated. This study also shows the importance of pharmacokinetics in the therapy management of ‘poor responders’ to PUVA.Keywords
