The Appearance of an Anomalous Azygos Vein on Computed Tomography of the Chest

Abstract
Computed tomography [CT] of the chest for possible pulmonary lesions in a patient with an azygos right lung lobe demonstrated the anomalous azygos vein. In an isolated CT section, the anomalous vein may simulate a pulmonary lesion; this can be explained by the presence of an azygos lobe.
