Abstract
The concentration of dolichol has been determined in various human tissues obtained at autopsy. The highest levels (∼3000 μg/g wet weight) were found in testes. Liver and several other endocrine tissues contained about 1000 μg/g. Lower levels were present in other tissues examined. Only a small proportion of the total dolichol in human tissues was esterified to fatty acids. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
