Abstract
The study was undertaken to ascertain the effect of salicylate on the spreading activity of bull testis extract in the human skin and its relationship to rheumatic disease. The results of intradermal tests on 18 human subjects were presented. Bull testis hyaluronidase, with human hemoglobin as an indicator of spread, was used. The area of spread in the skin of 9 health control subjects and of 3 cases of rheumatic fever was not influenced by the admn. of Na salicylate. Keywords
