Abstract
The copepod Neoergasilus japonicus, which is parasitic on fresh‐water teleosts, is recorded in Britain for the first time. Previous records of this species have been restricted to Eastern Europe and Asia. A key is provided to distinguish N. japonicus from other Ergasilidae found in Britain and a description of N. japonicus found in Britain is included. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
