Abstract
A survey of mammary fibroadenoma in females suggests that these tumors are far more common in middle age than has been supposed. Incidence of breast disease of all types was inordinately high in the mothers and sisters of the patients studied. Young black females appear to be at particularly high risk of development of mammary fibroadenoma. Keywords
