Abstract
Quantitative determinations of the leaf pigments of chlorotic pear and apricot leaves are reported. Chlorotic leaves are deficient in yellow pigments as well as in chlorophyll. Although the ratio between green and yellow pigments, reported as xanthophyll, is not constant, a close quantitative correlation exists between the 2 sets of pigments. The respective coefficient of correlation for 31 samples of Hardy pear leaves was .934.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
