Conodont Biostratigraphy of the Silurian of Europe

Abstract
As a result of research by various workers, the succession of Silurian conodont zones recognized by the author in 1964 has been confirmed and new information is added to our knowledge about the vertical range of Silurian conodonts. It is now possible to tie some of these zones more exactly to the graptolite zonal' sequence. This is especially the case with the author's "Bereich I" and with his uppermost Silurian eosteinhornensis-Zone.
