Mitral Valvular DiseasePatients operated upon for mitral-valve disease may undergo valvular replacement or valvular repair. Valve function is more variable after repair than after replacement, adding another complexity of analysis of early and late results of the operations.Survival and Complication Rates for Devices Used for Mitral Replacement and for the Repaired Mitral Valve Hospital mortality rates.
