Pyoderma Gangrenosum

Abstract
Pyoderma gangrenosum in a patient with an acute exacerbation of his chronic ulcerative colitis is described. Attention is called to the dramatic response of the cutaneous ulcer to the use of intralesional steroid. Because of the infrequent occurrence of pyoderma gangrenosum, the lack of reports of the therapeutic efficacy of intralesional steroid, the dramatic result in the reported case, and the reported vasoconstrictive property of intralesional steroid, further use of this form of therapy is advocated to adequately establish its therapeutic value.
