Abstract
Cases (11) of map-like dystrophy of the cornea are reported. It is characterized by the presence of fine whitish intraepithelial lines, which may easily be overlooked during biomicroscopic examination; they are most easily discernable in bright oblique illumination. Similarities with Cogan''s, fingerprint, and bleb-like dystrophy (Bron) are discussed. The potential weakness of the corneal epithelium in these patients is expressed.
