Abstract
A set of deleted BK viral DNA species were constructed that lack part of the triplicated 68-base-pair (bp) sequences (the central unit has a 18-bp deletion) and assayed them for capacity to transform hamster kidney cells. Deletion of 1 of the two 68-bp units remarkably enhanced transforming capacity. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
