Fearlessness, Stimulation-Seeking, and Large Body Size at Age 3 Years as Early Predispositions to Childhood Aggression at Age 11 Years

Abstract
BECAUSE AGGRESSION in early childhood is capable of predicting aggression in adulthood, some of the foundations for later aggressive and violent behavior are probably set in the first few years of life.1-5 Prospective longitudinal research beginning in the preschool years is especially important for identifying the early causal mechanisms but currently remains the exception rather than the rule. This longitudinal study reports on 3 early mechanisms for childhood aggression; body size, stimulation-seeking, and fearlessness.
