Abstract
Familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia is usually asymptomatic. Relapsing acute pancreatitis is its most important, although unusual, complication. We report a new family with familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia that was discovered, before any parathyroid surgery, as a result of a sole episode of acute pancreatitis in a 23-year-old proband (no recurrence 18 months later). Keywords
