Abstract
87 children between 8 and 11 yr. were identified as high, moderate and low creatives on a measure of verbal originality and presented 5 onomatopoeic words 4 times with time deadlines of 10 sec., 20 sec., 30 sec. and unlimited time. All three groups needed some time press although highly creative boys and girls generally needed more than their less creative peers. Keywords
