Abstract
The accuracy of radioisotope placentography in predicting placental location was 96.4 per cent in a group of 86 patients in whom anatomic verification of the placental site was obtained. Both I131-labeled human serum albumin and Cr51-labeled human serum albumin were employed in this series. Cr51 human serum albumin was considered the superior radiopharmaceutical since no premedication was required. Radioisotope placentography is the method of choice for evaluating the possibility of placenta previa.
