Abstract
An account is given of the periodicity of certain algae during 4 consecutive years and some correlation is shown to exist between the algal population and the physical and chemical condition of the water. Graphs are given showing the fluctuations in nitrate, phosphate, albuminoid ammonia, pH, temp., rainfall and sunshine throughout the period of the investigation.
