Theory of Partially Conserved Axial-Vector Current and Mesonic-Exchange Effects in Nuclear Beta Decay

Abstract
The size of mesonic-exchange effects in nuclear decay are compared with the value given by the theory of partially conserved axial-vector current in the light of new experimental data. It is concluded that, allowing for the experimental and theoretical uncertainties, there is no violent disagreement.
