Abstract
A humoral factor (molecular weight less than 60,000) that was present in the ascitic fluid of mice bearing intraperitoneal tumors and in pleural effusions from human cancer patients was found to promote the growth of a murine tumor and to suppress cell-mediated tumor immunity. However, the hosts that had recovered from the immunosuppressive state produced a serum factor that could neutralize the immunosuppressive effect.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
