Abstract
Ascending aortic injury is seen in only 5% of patients who survive long enough to undergo imaging. Emergent aortography is commonly used to confirm and define suspected thoracic rupture. We describe a case of ascending aortic rupture at the root of the aorta following blunt trauma diagnosed with CT imaging. Keywords
