Abstract
Left renal vein hypertension was documented in 3 patients who had hematuria. Two of them had extensive left periureteric varicosities. The nutcracker phenomenon (compression of the left renal vein between the superior mesenteric artery and the aorta) and the etiology of hematuria and periureteric varicosities are discussed in the light of these 3 patients. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
