Abstract
To aid in establishing neon standards in the infrared, interference measurements of 23 lines in the 7059 A-8865 A region are reported. The wavelengths were compared with the neon standards in the yellow-red region. Etalons of 3.75, 7.45, 10, 15, and 25 mm were used with a Fabry-Perot interferometer. The close consistency of the measurements with the results of Meggers and Humphreys and of Burns, Adams, and Longwell suggest the suitability of these wavelengths as secondary standards. Keywords
