Abstract
Antibiosis toward Aphis rubicola Oestlund was manifest in red raspberry selection ‘NY 632’. First-instars caged on tip cuttings experienced greater mortality, became shorter and lighter adults, and produced fewer progeny on NY 632 than on 3 other cultivars. When left uncaged on tip cuttings, nymphs took longer to develop, attained shorter adult lengths, and deposited fewer progeny on NY 632 than on 5 other cultivars. Nymphs caged on potted plants of NY 632 matured later, became shorter adults, and deposited fewer progeny than those on plants of susceptible ‘September’.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
